Helms & Armor
Helms and armor go hand in hand, uniquely available to skullcrackers as a means of defense and attack.
Normally soft when relaxed, upon heightened emotion or simply at will, the helm hardens and becomes near impenetrable.
A skullcracker is always born with a soft velvety patch of fur (or skin) that frames it's face. These patches are known as "Helms", and develop their diamond-dense quality as the skullcracker learns to control that muscle.
Helms are a pivotal part of Skullcracker society, and are used to identify and greet each other.
Alongside helms, skullcrackers are also seen with velvety patches on their body that have the same ability as their helms, these patches are known as "Armor". While not every skullcracker may bear these additional patches, it's often associated with the species as a whole.

These traits will have their own pages found below, as there are too many options for a single concise page.
HelmsHelms are Mandatory for skullcrackers, and are always displayed in some way. Hair can be freely added but make sure there is at least a peek of the helm somewhere past the hair.

ArmorArmor is commonly found, and not found on skullcrackers, as it is an optional trait. Commonly only displaying as small additional patches, the higher in rarity, the more coverage on the body.
